Kids teaching Kids. Wow what amazing students I have!

I will say it again. I have amazing kids. They just get along. My students seem to be taking turns being math tutors in the chat box. I did not ask this of them. They just have started to hang in the chat box and help each other out. Today it is Melanie's turn. Before Camile, Nicky and others have stayed in the box and helped others out. The other kids are realizing that there is someone in the chat box from 4 to past 10 each night. I used to keep the laptop tuned to the blog to answer questions now I do not have to as much. Kids get it. They really do. Why can I not convince the other teachers in my building that blogging and online communities really hook students and they start to help each other.

It is so amazing that I am installing the chatbox on this blog. You need to share the experience of these students working as you read my writing.
